Peter is described by his peers as “the epitome of a Sustainability Champion” for his Green Impact leadership and for “going above and beyond to ensure that sustainability is a priority for the [University of Tasmania] Cradle Coast Campus.”
In 2024, Peter contributed to a new book on how education can support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which was launched at the University of Tasmania to coincide with Earth Day. The book sets out to explore the concrete and practical ways that all areas of education and training can proactively employ ‘Education for Sustainability’. Peter proudly MC’d the book launch event.
