The Kākāriki Team host four clothing swaps a year for AUT staff. At the end of these swaps, they were finding they often had clothes left over but instead of donating them to charity shops as they had in the past, they decided to organise a clothing giveaway for students. They wanted to give students an opportunity to get free good quality casual and work placement clothes.

Fresh Fits was a resounding success with students queuing well before the doors where due to open. The team had a great time setting up displays of clothing, shoes and accessories and helping students find what they needed.
